Dr. Eric Cantey is the Associate Director of BMC2 PCI. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine and an interventional cardiologist at Michigan Medicine. Dr. Cantey graduated AOA from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, where he served as a Chief Resident. He then continued his training at Northwestern by completing fellowships in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced structural and complex coronary disease fellowships. During his fellowship, he obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation. Dr. Cantey's research interests include quality improvement in PCI and comparative effectiveness of cardiovascular therapies, particularly for complex coronary disease and cardiogenic shock.
