In-person Presentation

Presentation Format Requirements

  • A PC laptop will be available at the podium. If you require a Mac, please notify us in advance.
  • Accepted file format: PowerPoint (.pptx) 
  • Please use the “Widescreen” 16:9 aspect ratio for your slides.
  • An optional BMC2 Power Point template is available for your use.

Submission and Preparation

  • Upload your final presentation to our designated Dropbox folder.
  • We also recommend bringing a backup copy on a USB drive.
  • If your presentation contains videos, please plan to arrive early to test them on the podium computer.
  • Note: Speaker notes embedded in your slides may not be visible during your talk. If you need notes, please bring a printed copy.

Presentation Day

  • All presentations will be combined into a master slide deck and loaded onto the podium laptop. To ensure a seamless program, presenters are asked not to use personal laptops.
  • You will be able to view your slides on the podium PC or confidence monitor during your presentation.
  • A slide advancer with a pointer will be provided.

Presentation Day

  • Please log in at least 10 minutes early to test any embedded videos, check your internet connection, and practice using the screen-sharing controls.
  • Be aware that there may be a brief delay when advancing slides; please allow for this as you present.
  • If your presentation includes polls, these will be administered by the session host.
  • When it is your turn to present, please enable your video and unmute your microphone.
