The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Cardiovascular Consortium Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Quality Improvement Initiative (BMC2 PCI) is a prospective, multicenter registry that represents a regional collaborative effort to assess and improve quality of care and outcomes of patients with coronary disease undergo percutaneous coronary intervention. The registry has collected information for approximately 200,000 interventional cases since its inception in year 1998, from 31 participating hospitals.
